ATM x 3 required in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Team in Norfolk. Must have previous experience working as an ATM and have at least 3 years post qualifying experience. Previous experience within MASH preferred but ATM level children experience will be considered.

  1. To assist the Team Manager in the operational management of the team to ensure all casework is effectively carried out to the required statutory, professional, and service standards, and that relevant performance targets are achieved, particularly those relating to the safety of and outcomes for children and the strengthening of families. To deputise for the Team Manager when required. To assist the Team Manager with managing and developing the performance of Team members, provide professional supervision in accordance with current supervision policy and standards, and undertake relevant annual appraisals, ensuring that appropriate staff development and training needs are identified and met.
  2. To participate in the planning and provision of services and chair relevant meetings/reviews for individual children and their families. 
  3. To implement and monitor quality assurance systems, ensuring services are provided in line with procedures and meet with targets and timescales.
  4. To maintain full and accurate records (including electronic records), and in accordance with departmental procedures to ensure quality assurance requirements are met.
  5. To provide regular reports on compliance as required.
  6. To ensure staff are aware of policy and practice developments.
  7. Through all accountabilities and at all times, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
  8. To identify service gaps and recommend developments.
  9. To manage all resources within clearly defined financial budgets.
  10. To implement the county’s user involvement strategy.
  11. To participate in and ensure appropriate action is taken following internal and external inspections, audits, complaints and disciplinary investigations.
