Consultant Psychiatrist

We are working with a client in the West Midlands who are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to cover Adult Community Mental Health, starting immediately.

The role is for a 3 month period initially (but may be extended).

Requirements:

• UK community experience in Psychiatry
• Section 12 registration
• AC Status
• On-site working is required, weekdays only (Monday–Friday), within 09:00–17:00 hours
• Right to Work in the UK

Main duties of the job:

• Provide clinical leadership within the Trust in collaboration with fellow Consultant colleagues.

• Deliver medical input and expertise for patients under the care of the Mental Health Team.

• Contribute as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex mental health disorders.

• Take an active role in building and maintaining strong partnerships with external agencies, including the local Primary Care Network (PCN)
