Experienced Social Worker needed for a Children and Families Team working in the Newton Abbot area of Devon. Experience of complex CIN cases needed with particular focus on building positive relationships with children and their families to promote positive change. Experience of CP and Court work is necessary but support from experienced managers will be provided. The team is a well-established team who have been together for a number of years and are extremely supportive of each other.
Devon Local Authority is striving for caseloads of 16 children and young people taking into account complexity of caseloads. Flexibility in terms of working hours, condensing hours and opportunities to work from home will be considered.
Specifications
- Honours Degree or Diploma in Social Work or CQSW.
- Registration as a Social Worker with the HCPC.
- 3 years PQE
