Luton Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Community Learning Disability Team based at Clemitson House to assist with a new project with funding from the "Bettercare Fund".
This particular project is required to review the current schemes within supported living and private schemes within Luton provided to current service users.
Candidates MUST have extensive experience of the below services users:-
Mental Health
Learning Dis/ Physical Dis
Older Persons
Children/Adults SW
Substance Misuse
Older Persons
Hospital Discharge
Full packages of care are to be reviewed with a view to implementing/incorporating "Assistive Technology Solutions". Luton require a strong candidate to conduct this role with a view to create further independence for the service users.
Candidate must be a car driver.

QSW's
LD Nurses
Enablement Co-ordinators
Specifications
- Qualified Social Worker and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Car driver essential
- QSW with strong adults experience
- Experience within Learning Disabilities
- Ability to make decisions to create independence for service users
