We were proud to sponsor and attend the East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust's "Time to Shine Awards" on Wednesday 16 July, celebrating the incredible work of healthcare professionals across the region, in support of the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity (ENHHC), our charity partner.
Representing Evergood Associates, Carrie Williams (Principal Advisor and Group General Counsel) and Gareth Davies (Managing Director) had the honour of presenting The Evergood Associates Continuous Improvement Award alongside Tichafara Phiri (Non-Executive Director of the Trust) - the winners on the night were the outstanding Endoscopy Team. “The endoscopy team has transformed care through innovative diagnostics, cutting-edge procedures, and pioneering research. The team is committed to staff training, patient engagement, and ensuring the team are aligned with their objectives and goals. The team have recently introduced a patient forum as an excellent way to engage with patients to ensure improvements are patient centred.”
This ethos deeply aligns with our own at Evergood - the endoscopy team has shown what it means to move beyond routine care and strive for innovation, whether through service redesign, efficiency improvements, or enhanced patient experience. Their ambition mirrors Evergood’s own commitment to raising the bar in healthcare staffing provision — proving that small, continuous improvements, with the right people in the room, can drive lasting change.
This award not only honours their achievements but also celebrates a shared belief: that excellence is a journey, not a destination — and that better is always possible.
It was a very humbling evening witnessing all of the great work done in the NHS every day and the meeting some more of the very special people who deliver it.
