A signed picture from England’s World Cup hero Harry Kane helped us reach our fundraising target at our recent summer ball. Tottenham striker Kane’s signed picture was the star of the auction at the event, helping us raise over £4,000 for the Rooprai Spinal Trust on a brilliant night. This year’s Charity Ball was held in aid of our 2018 chosen charity, the Rooprai Spinal Trust, and it was a huge pleasure to be able to continue our fundraising at the event, even more so because Marrianne and Andy, two of the charity’s co-founders, were able to join us at Hanbury Manor for a night of glamour, laughter and dancing. One of the highlights of the evening was our auction, which included a signed picture of England captain Harry Kane, as well as a raffle which featured a number of fabulous days out. Andy and Marrianne also oversaw a number of games that involved the whole room and was a brilliant way to end the festivities before the guest all took to the dancefloor to show off their most ‘enthusiastic’ moves. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came on the night and helped make it such a spectacular event, as well as all the staff at Hanbury Manor for their hard work during the evening. Thanks must also go to the team at Rooprai Spinal Trust for attending the event, it was lovely to be able to give everyone at the event a better insight into the incredible work done by RST and where all the money we’ve raised over the year will be spent.http://www.rstrust.com/ To learn more about the Rooprai Spinal Trust, visit www.rstrust.com
