Across the globe, we are known for our National Health Service, which is perceived to be as quintessentially British as roast dinners, poor weather and cricket on a village green. It is an institution to be proud of that lets the many be treated of their ills regardless of their background.

It seems like only yesterday that we were blogging about the best way to keep cool in the workplace. It’s time to face facts and admit that summer is gone. As the days get shorter, the climate gets colder; and the inevitable happens: more people get ill.

The London 10,000 takes place every May and is a road running event that starts in St James’s Park and finishes within the shadows of Buckingham Palace. Organised by the same team as the London Marathon, it’s one of the biggest supported 10k’s in the country, boasting well over 12,000 participants.
